Located in the NCC Green Belt Stoney Swamp Conservation Area. Its about 275 m from the P11 parking area off Hunt Club Road followed by a 140 m bushwack off the established trail. Sounds like its far but it takes me six minutes to walk to it.
This hide is part of the GAG 13 event so please don't search until 1800 hr 13 February 2009. Very winter friendly.
No darn micros, devilish puzzles or agonizing tags to search for here just my favorite straight forward, easy, dash and grab...... well maybe the dash part is easy, the grab part may not be so easy. If you're coming as a mob bring straws because the one with the short straw will have to grab the cache.
This was the eleventh cache that I set out for this event so I really had to dig deep for swag as I'm pretty much cleaned out. Please replace it as you found it or better. It will be pretty obvious how it should be left. There's a fairly thick cedar canopy here but the cache is quite large and is muggle cammoed not cacher cammoed so it should be pretty obvious.
Cache is a 7.62 mm ammo box containing log, pencil, small LED light, naptha funnel, emergency poncho, field dressing gloves, horse fly tape and pace cord. FTF is a Gerber folding buck saw.
