Bigguy In Texas: Well it is with sadness that I let this one go. 10 years in existence was a good run.
I thank the park staff for their generosity in granting permission for this one all these years.
Now it is my hope that they take this opportunity to place another cache in the vicinity for others to come and enjoy this beautiful state park.

Geocache Description:

This cache is located inside Lake Casa Blanca State Park. There is a nominal entrance fee but this is such a fun place to come to that you and your family should make a day of it!

The cache is placed with the knowledge and approval of the Park Superintendent and staff.

Back to the fee requirement - it is for using the state park. Since this cache is really at the entrance area, you might ask the nice park personnel if you can come in "just for a few minutes" to get the geocache hidden right in the parking lot.
I know cachers that have been able to grab this one without paying to stay in the park.

Of course the park is so nice (and has other caches inside) that you might want to spend some time there.

BTW, an annual Tx State Parks pass (available at the office) is a good idea too!
