Maurepas WMA Nature Trail
This is a great addition to our other cache Joyce's Swamp Walk. The biggest difference is that this one is exactly a half of a mile walk into the Maurepas WMA. The other difference is that this is a trail, so it will be subjected to the tides. The trail could be a little sloppy after a rain or during high tides. Be prepared with a pair of short boots ( like those white boots that the shrimpers use ). Since you'll be walking pretty much level with swamp, you should keep a sharp eye out for any aquadic critters that might be lurking around. At the end is a large open area. Also, if it's hot, you may want to bring some bug spray.. The cache is a medium size container with a nice multi-tool and case, some small tie raps, small blade screwdriver w/magnet, sm caribener, large dice, and a hummingbird ornament.
