Located beside the Waikato River. This cache can be reached from the riverside walk and bike track starting at the Huka Falls, from Loop Road, or from the waypointed trail head. The cache is a camouflaged 2 litre container hidden on the side of the trail. There is no need to leave the trail to find the cache. Once the cache is found head over the bridge and down the path to the beach on the Waikato River. Watch out for the passing jet boats and the variation in water level as the flow is adjusted for hydro power demands. Go to the beach to the left of the warning sign and about 5 metres further left you can wriggle your feet into the pumice sand to find some hot water.
