How Geocaching Works

This is the second cache in a series of four caches located along a trail in Hemlock Overlook Regional Park. They are all placed in memory of my yorkie, Henree, who hiked this trail many times during his short life. The series is designed to get people out to enjoy this beautiful trail. It’s about a two mile loop along the water, over rocks, and some hills. These four caches will lead you right back to your car.
Start at the trail head located at dead end of Yates Ford Road in Clifton. There are several parking spaces there. The yellow trail will lead you (about a half a mile) down to the water. Turn right onto the blue trail (Bull Run/Occoquan Trail). Enjoy!
This cache is a slight detour from the blue blaze trail and will take you up on a horse trail just a little. Enjoy the view and then get back down to the blue trail and continue on.
Congratulations to reedkickball for FTF!
