Geocache Description:

This is my 6th cache in the Prank Call Series. For this cache we are going back in time to where it all started, with Prince Albert in a can. Back before we had Al Coholic, Amanda Hugenkiss, or Drew P. Weiner, we had the grandaddy of em all Prince Albert.

Rumor has it that the first prank call ever recorded was made, inadvertently, using this name by Alexander Graham Bell. He called up his local general store (I think the number was 6) and asked them if they had any Prince Albert in a Can. When the store clerk said yes Bell promtly said "Well thats great Im fresh out." The phone connection being poor at best, I mean there were only about 14 phones, led the clerk to think Bell said, "Well you better let him out!", and the prank call was born.

This cache is located in an old shopping center which is no longer in use. I had no idea this palce was there, even though Ive passed it tons of times, and it really surprises me that there was ever a music and arts center in Blountville.
