The Hike or Bike series is intended to provide a cache where you can get out and walk or bike (or roller blade) and enjoy the beautiful waterfront trail. I plan to add to the series over the next few months and will release two multi caches at a time. This is the third cache in this series which will head in a westerly direction.
Lakeside Park (Ajax)
The coordinates listed are for the first Waypoint. If you are biking, you can follow the waterfront trail route and go right to the first waypoint however if you are driving you will need to park along the street near the park.
To find the next waypoint, find the distance from Port Hope (Ganaraska River) to Rouge Park. Remove the period and add 27 to the the total. Use this number as the last three digits in the north coordinate. = AAA Example: 12.1 becomes 121 + 27 = 148 (AAA)
Second, find the distance from Darlington Provincial Park to Lynde Shores Conservation Area (main entrance). Remove the period and double this number, then add 23 to this total. Use this number as the last three digits in the west coordinate = BBB
Example: 12.1 becomes 121 x 2 = 242 + 23 = 265 (BBB)

You will find the coordinates for the final cache at the second waypoint. Please do not take these coordinates as there is only one copy. You will need to bring something to write them on before proceeding.
