Log-only cache. Has a wee pencil, but they do get lost, so not a bad idea to bring your own. Tweezers or needlenoses might be helpful. Difficulty of 2 may be wishful thinking, but everybody seems to be finding my first three with little trouble so I tried to make this one a little more difficult. We'll see. No, it's not one of those devilish 5Ds magnetic nanos, nothing ferrous out there to stick it to! Coords are averaged from several readings, so should be pretty good.
Fourth in a series of 1 to TBD in which all the wiles of Mother Nature are brought to bear on the poor, unsuspecting cacher who thinks finding this cache is going to go as smooth as whipped margarine. I try to stamp out no-swag caches wherever I find them by leaving some wee object, but this one would hold only the tiniest of swag items, even a penny would be too big. A short walk off the road, the usual desert warnings for pokey stuff and possible cranky critters who know how to defend themselves. As usual, I ask seekers/finders to consider erasing their tracks (at least in the immediate vicinity of the hide) so those who come after will have to earn their reward.
CONGRATULATIONS TO 5DAUGHTERS AND THAT CRAFTY D#2 FOR CO-FTF! (And pleased to read that the two stars for difficulty may be appropriate. Hope it was a fun hunt.)
STATUS NOTE as of 10/2016: this cache is still in operation, and as far as I can tell is NOT part of the nearby, fenced and signed private property. Geo-senses tell me, however, that development is proceeding apace, and some day relatively soon this cache may be eaten by a bulldozer. If so, never fear, it will arise again somewhere nearby in an even better container to mess with seekers' minds.
