This was to be my first Hurricane, but friends of ours were having a birthday party that weekend so pritzen and I Survived IKE at a friends house in LaVernia, TX., most of the time in their pool =)

In our neighborhood in Willis, TX. there was a bunch of trees down, but when we turn into our driveway, the house looked better than when we left. We had just a few tree branches down. The worse part was, we were out of power and water for 6 days.
