Geocache Description:


Philomath, Oregon was founded in 1867 by the United Brethren Church, and incorporated in 1882. When you visit this cache, we encourage you to learn more about Philomath at the Benton County Historical Society & Museum, which is a short drive away on Highway 20. Another benefit to visiting the museum is another cache (GC1BY20)!

The container is a magnetic key holder. You should be able to park near the cache if you are heading westbound. No need to venture into bushes or thorns! Log only, please bring your own writing instrument. It is nearly wheelchair-accessible, but it might difficult to reach from a wheelchair. After signing the log, please make sure that the plastic bag is sealed and that it fits entirely within the container.

Congrats to Sprite4 for being FTF! And congrats also to GlenMart, who was FTF the original cache before it got muggled.
