The Third Monthly Hampshire Cachers Meet: Wednesday 18th March 2009 The Hampshire Rose London Road Widley Waterlooville Hampshire PO7 5AG NB: There is a car park at the front of the pub and another at the rear (accessed from Park Avenue). Your hosts for the night will be Explorer_Olway and they will be there from 6.30pm onwards. An opportunity to meet and greet other cachers in the area over a glass of your favourite tipple and some good pub grub. It promises to be another great evening from 7pm onwards although some may be there earlier. There are also several caches within the local area that you may want to tackle over the evening!! Geocoins/TBs: I will also be providing a cache box on the night for those attending to drop any TBs or Geocoins into so that other cachers can discover or retrieve as appropriate. The idea behind these events is also that everyone who attends takes their turn to host the event...... For more information email me via my profile. This third meet is after the very succesful first and second meets in Eastleigh and South Warnborough. The landlord was very happy to accommodate us in the newly refurbished pub and will dedicate a specific part of the pub for our use. A food menu will be available very soon, so please indicate if you are likely to want food so the pub can make arrangements. The menu was varied and very reasonably priced - the Pub has asked us to try and concentrate on five main meal choices all at £5.95 each. These are: Bangers & Mash Ham, Egg & Chips Gourmet Burger & Chips Fish & Chips Chicken, Bacon & Cheese Baguettes & Sandwiches should also be available. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU INTEND TO EAT & YOUR MEAL CHOICE SO I CAN FOREWARN THE PUB. So lets make #3 even bigger and better than the first two. If you haven't yet been to an event cache and want to experience something different and also get the opportunity to meet other cachers, swap stories, TBs and Geocoins then come along. All cachers will be welcomed and cachers from further afield than Hampshire will also be very welcome.
