Geocache Description:

Lang vandretur til As Hoved


Parkering skal ske ved den officielle parkeringsplads ved Palsgaard Gods, det er ikke tilladt at køre i området. Det er tilladt at cykle.
Fra parkeringspladsen er der adgang til godsets store park med mange sjældne træer og buske. Parken er åben for offentligheden fra kl. 8 til solnedgang
Cachen er placeret i privat skov med tilladelse fra Inspektøren, regler for færdsel i privat skov skal overholdes.
Cachen kan være lukket i tilfælde af jagt – hvilket oplyses ved skiltning.
Turen er på ca. 7 km, men kan selvfølgelig tages sammen med Palsgaard Voldsted for at spare et par kilometer.

As Hoved er en halvø, med et flot landskab og rigt dyreliv, klemt inde mellem Horsens- og Vejle Fjord.
Halvøen er en del af de 1.353 hektar jord der hører til Palsgaard Gods og er mod øst dækket af As Hoved Skov der ender i en cirka 10 m høj kystklint, hvorfra der er en flot udsigt til Endelave, Fyn og Æbelø.

English:

Parking must be in the official car park at Palsgaard Gods, it is not allowed to drive in the area. It is allowed to ride a bicycle.
From the car park there is access to a large park with many rare trees and shrubs. The park is open to the public from 8 am to sunset.
The cache is located in the private forest with permission of the Supervisor, rules for hiking in private forest must be obeyed. Because of hunting, the trip can be closed.
The trip is about 7 km, but you can go for “Palsgaard Voldsted” at same trip.

“As Hoved” is a peninsula with a beautiful landscape and rich wildlife. It is located between “Horsens and Vejle Fjord”.
The peninsula is part of the 1,353 hectares of land belonging to “Palsgaard Gods” and to the east covered by “As Hoved Skov” (forest) ending in an approximately 10 m high coastal cliff, which has a nice view towards “Endelave”, “Fyn”, and “Æbelø”.
