This cache is located at a rest area along I-55 on the southbound side. This is a great place for a travel bug hotel. This location is between exits and is accessible for both north and southbound travelers.

UPDATE (5/11/14): The original location (tree) was destroyed by a car wreck and then a lightning strike, so we had to move the cache for fear the tree would be cut down soon. The cache is now located in a grove of trees just off the off ramp, north of the original location. You will still exit and park at the rest stop.
You are looking for a small tupperware container that has been covered with black paint. Please leave it covered as you found it so it will not be visible to mowers. This is our first published cache and it is in honor of our 19 yr. old cat, Gizmo. She has diabetes and takes insulin shots twice a day. Her birthday is May 5, 1990. We have included her bio card in the log book.
UPDATE: On July 21, 2009 we lost our precious Gizmo to complications from Diabetes. Our lives have not been the same since she has been gone. This cache was originally placed in her honor, and we wanted to get it back up as soon as we could. Please take the time to log your visits and travel bug activity both in and out. We want to keep this cache as up to date as possible for our Giz.
