Located along the Patuxent River Nature Trail

The Patuxent River Scenic Trail at Queen Anne is a 4-mile natural surface woodland trail for hiking, bicycling and horseback riding. One of the directives in the Master Plan the Commission adopted was to develop a series of linear trails along the river. This trail meanders along the river connecting this scenic greenway with its resources. Scenic overlooks, interpretive exhibits and rest stops complement the trail. Markers identify the trail and are color-coded for easy identification. Visitors are asked to follow proper trail etiquette and park in designated areas.
Entrance to the 4-H center is just past 18405 Queen Anne Road Upper Marlboro, MD 20774 just look for the signs to the 4-H center. Once you get to the entrance to the 4-H ceenter, just go down to the parking area for the canoe launch. You'll follow the path down and walk along the "Patuxent River Nature Trail".
Terrain listed as a 2.5, but depends on whether you try a direct frontal or find the easier way to get to it. My 6 yo daughter and I walked right to it.
