Geocache Description:

This is a 2” X 2” X 9” Stainless container in Portersville Park that my wife, (who has never been out caching with me) helped me hide. This is a nice little borough park with 2 shelters a ballpark, pond, restrooms, and slides & swings. The gate is closed from November 1st until April 1st and the hours are 10:00 am to 10:00 pm. It sits between Rt19 & 79 and is just south of 422. I am giving Cords to the entrance of the park because if your not paying attention, one could easily drive past it. Until the park opens and you can drive closer to the cache, you will have to park either at the entrance by the gate (easy walk) or behind the old school and walk to the end of the fence away from the building. The second approach is shorter but requires bushwhacking, and depending where you end up, might have to cross a small stream (very small). If parking by the gate, try to park to the right side so as not to block it. Also, use caution pulling out from here because the hill creates a blind spot. The cache has a logbook, pen & pencil and some other assorted junk. I left a green piece of paper in the cache and I think the FTF will somehow know what to do with it. PLEASE be careful not to destroy the foliage and stuff at ground zero looking for the cache, and Please return just as found so to keep it safe from muggles.
