The begining or the end depending on which way you are traveling
from. This 5.2 km walking path was paved and illuminated in the
fall of 2006, so all could rollerblade, bike and walk around
Portage la Prairie's scenic Crescent Lake. Crescent lake is an
oxbow of the Assiniboine River
Enjoy the many signs that point out some of Portage's history as
you round the lake. One can also see many species of widlife but be
especially careful in the early fall as the Canada Geese are
plentyful and even a dropping or two.
