Caching ROCKS! While Shopping... DOESN'T. This one in a series of traditional caches I'm creating that will be near a certain store chain that my wife LOVES to shop at.

Welcome to Paramus, NJ! Paramus is one of the largest shopping areas in the country, with over $5 billion in annual sales, more than any other ZIP Code in the United States. The term "Paramus" comes from the Lenape Native American word meaning "land of the wild turkey" or "place of fertile soil". That is why there is a giant metal statue of a turkey in the Paramus Park Mall. (info source: Wikipedia)

Container is a small camo'ed playdough container.

Need a distraction from shopping? Well you may not find it here, because you're right next to the Bergen Mall! It's currently being rebuilt, but shopping here will be insane.

My wife loves to find a good bargain. And when she finds a certain combination of discounts and coupons where the deal is almost free... she's in her groove! So, most times, while she's shopping, I'm looking for nearby caches (if there are any) or looking at places that would make good cache locations. And strangely enough, many times there isn't a cache nearby. So for those of us dragged to this particular store chain, we should now have a nice caching hunt while waiting out a shopping hunt. Caching Vs Shopping!

NOTE: Please feel free to add on to this series with the title "Caching Vs Shopping" and the location (town and state). Just please try to keep them near this store chain location (within a block or so, in case the shopping hunt is shorter than the caching hunt).

* Series partially inspired by the "SPARE US" series, but mostly by the long stretches of time waiting for a shopping hunt to end.
