Geocache Description:

EDIT LISTING FOR WEATHER: Now a shorter, food-free event.

Okay, lame-O cachers, how big is your DNF list? Those caches
that 'got away'?

In a lovely park in West Christchurch. Event starts at 5pm on the Sunday. *** Due to weather I expect we'll be done by 6pm and go home for a hot meal ***

The idea here is that on the Saturday/Sunday 21/22 March, you go out and attempt to knock off some of those DNFs from your list. Look up your find history and locate those caches that you just couldn't work out or couldn't find.

It is a requirement of the cache that your intention log lists which caches you will be seeking that weekend, by GC code. That way we can know numbers and work out which ones, and chat together at the picnic after, knowing which ones YOU were going to be trying for! There will be a checklist created from the intention logs for you to check off. (Those who didn't think they could come and didn't log an intention are still welcome, checking off is not a requirement.)

It will be fun seeing if any of you are going for the same ones I will be, and so on! :)

We will also have a bit of fun creating a simple cache in the park on the day. So please bring one very small item to place in this new (400ml) cache. There will be a prize for one person in relation to this activity. The prize is an unactivated glow in the dark DNF geocoin.

A short clarification - this event is NOT about organising a hunt on the ones you found difficult. Just go out and do your own DNF-clearing during that weekend, then come to the event and talk about it. So please don't ask in your log for help or caching buddies for your DNF attacks. Although obviously if you see someone is doing the same one you are, a PM to arrange you both heading out together is okay.
