A peaceful place to rest.
This small cache will be easy to find once you reach the destination, the getting there will prove the challenge and there are several ways to go about it. If you are into 4WDriving go from Kalbarri out past the Anchorage CP down the dirt track for the maximum 4 x 4 experience!
A 4WD is required to reach this cache - it maybe possible in a "soft-roader" but definately make sure you are competent with your vehicle in heavy sand, dont forget to take some recovery equipment. Beware of mud spots as they too can be slippery and boggy (it doesnt need to have been raining to have wet spots).
Please also note that once away from the coast at Kalbarri temperatures can become considerably warmer so dont forget the water bottle and slip, slop slap.
After saying all that this spot is well worth the effort so take a picnic lunch. It is a place of unexpected beauty that few people know about. Please dont wreck it with litter etc.
