Geocache Description:

A red-topped peanut butter jar that you can add to. Easy trails through a clear-cut. Fantastic view. Watch out for Elk poop.

Best approach is from the west end of Acorn Rd. or from Hwy 101 and Leanne Rd. Although it looks easier to get to from the north, it's a bit trickier because a resident has appeared to make use of a road access as his own. Circle around this obstacle on the west side along an old skid road and trail. The cache is a Boy Scout style emergency kit containing a few useful survival items. Feel free to add to the kit but leave what's there, especially the badge. Sooner or later we'll need a bigger container.

We originally had good ol' Scout trail signs directing you to the cache. The blackberries have taken over, so now it's just a plain old traditional cache. If you found it previously by using the trail signs, Baden Powell would have been proud of you.
