West Sky Loop Trail - part of Gorham Trails. Ungroomed trail that is easy in summer, and moderately difficult in winter. Park on side of Narragansett St at green trailhead sign and follow green marker tape.
First time cache for us. Please note 11/21/2009: The Jimmy Neutron TB, Surfs Up, and Pirate Treasure GeoCoin are NOT in this cache. They were, but have moved and have not been logged out.
Standing on the wooden bridge, you will be within 20 feet of the green ammo can. Look in the crook at the base of a group of trees. You can follow the loop trail around, or back track if you want to take it easy. Contents include a logbook, some carabiners, a bunch of Hotwheels and a ribbon for the First to Find.
Please take or swap a trinket and leave a note if you wish. The trail is un-groomed and marked with bright green paint. It is easy in summer, and a little tougher in winter. It can be skiied, snowshoed, hiked, etc. Please carryout trash or dog stuff. Wildlife can be found all over - Deer, Turkey, a rare moose. Total distance is about 1 mile in and out. This should be an easy find on a nice, raw trail.
