Easy parking and easy walk, but watch out for those pesky hunters!
As the name implies, there are plenty of thorns (as well a bit of poison oak) in the immediate vicinity, but when you approach the location you will see that I cleared a path to save you from bloodshed. The poison oak is very easy to avoid... just walk straight ahead to the tree. However, I would strongly recommend not walking BEHIND the tree, which is certainly not necessary to retrieve the cache. (If you are not sure how to identify poison oak, look here.)
Please replace the log inside its plastic bag, replace the container exactly where you found it, and re-hide it with the natural camo. Also, please bring your own writing instrument. Also note that there may be some slugs on the container... for some reason they REALLY like this location. If you encounter any, and if you are not too squeamish, please gently remove them and place them elsewhere. Please do not kill them... they were here first.
