This cache has been archived.

GeoCrater: I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no word from the owner in the month or more since the last reviewer note was posted. If you want to re-activate the cache during the next couple of months, please contact GeoCrater to see if that's possible. If the cache meets current guidelines, consideration will be given based on the circumstances surrounding the original archival.

NOTE: My preferred method of communication is through notes on the cache page in question. However, should you wish to use email - please do not select "reply". In general, a replay to the geocaching.com mail bot will not reach me. Instead, please go to your cache page and e-mail GeoCrater from the log there or email me directly at geocrater@gmail.com, referencing the cache URL, or waypoint number.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

The title of this cache is "low tide" because that is the recommended time to hunt. You will need to do some strategic climbing. Be careful. Best not to take small children.

You will find the contents of the cache useful. You will need to move some of the surrounding landscape to find the cache, and please replace the natural items that hide the cache. This cache was my first cache to hide, and I have been out on my birthday to add to my geocaching fun. While you are looking take time to enjoy the birds. I also recommend stopping at the Mad Dog for a quick drink or refreshment. They are good folks who own it and work there.

After the cache went missing after three years of finds, I put together a new cache in the same kind of container.

I also placed (8/16/13) a Travel Bug item (#zgebjy) in the cache for the first one to find it again. There is an item to take and place in another cache.
