The log ended up impossible to keep dry so I changed things up a bit. The container is still exactly where it was placed and is not and never was the rain gauge. There is no longer a log to sign but there is an item in the cache container.
To get credit for this cache take a picture of the item that's in the container and email me the picture. Please dont post the picture online.
