The other day i was going through some of my old coin collections and an idea hit me! Why not make a puzzle cache relating to the subject? So here it is: N41 AJDBF W086 CHIGE A= The 3rd digit of the first year the type 2 US 3 cent silver piece was minted. B= The 2nd digit of the total number of draped bust half dimes minted in 1797. C= The number of proofs struck of the 1867 seated liberty quarter with motto on reverse minus 624. D= The number of links of chain on the reverse of the 1793 flowing hair 1 cent piece minus the 3rd and 4th digits of the original weight planned for this coin later reduced before minting started. E= The number of 3 dollar gold pieces that were minted for circulation in 1876. F= The number of stars appearing on the 1794 flowing hair half dime minus the 4th digit of the last year the matron head large cent was produced. G= The flying eagle cent was short lived and only minted from 1856-1858. You will need to find the first or second number (either) of the percentage of copper used in these coins. H= The second number of the diameter of the 1868 2 cent piece. I= There were only 10,000 1876CC (CARSON CITY) US 20 cent pieces minted for circulation which makes this an extremely rare coin. How many proofs of this coin were struck for this same year? J= The number of vertical bars displayed within the shield of the shield nickel minus the number of arrows shown below the shield.
