The M-NCPPC Park Rangers would like to thank everyone who participated in the M-NCPPC Ranger Challenge. The coin promotion for the Ranger Challenge will be ending on October 8, 2011.

Cedar Haven Fishing Area


This Ranger Challenge cache is located at the Cedar Haven Fishing Area and will lead you on a 0.25 mile hike. The fishing area is located in the southeastern corner of the county, adjacent to the town of Eagle Harbor, where the Patuxent river is over a mile wide and offers visitors a panoramic view from its sandy shoreline. The property was developed as a fishing area. A Chesapeake Bay sport fishing license is required and surf rods are recommended.
