Mumlava
Trochu z historie Harrachova:
Harrachov (puvodne Harrachsdorf), svetoznámé lyžarské, turistické a sklárské stredisko západních Krkonoš. V této oblasti byly též založeny i první sklárské hute.

A brief history of Harrachov:
Harrachov (originally Harraschsdorf) is internationally known ski, tourism and glassworks centrum situated in the Northern Czech Republic within the Krkonose mountain range. The first reference to settlement dates back to the 14 th century. The main reason and attraction at the time was the sufficiency of wood, a fundamental element for heating of glass houses, which were being found during this period. The eldest part of Harrachov as we know it today, is colony called Ryzoviste (a paddy-field), popular for its gold and silver washing in former times, as it is apparent from the name. We can also find first ever founded glass house in this colony. In 1712 glass houses were also found in the New World, and laid foundations to the celebrated Harrachov glass factory. Harrachov as we know it today, developed from the integration of Harrachov, New World, Ryzoviste and Mytina, which was incorporated only in 1959. This was a brief summary of the history of Harrachov.
This cache will lead you away from the elevated wireway to the Devil’s Hill, near by mountain hiking tracks and approximately 130m away from the pub called ‘The Mole’ (U krtka) – you are welcome to stop by at The Mole and experience the Postrizinske beer or draught lemonade.

Let's go for the hunt!
