Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE LISTED CO-ORDINATES A Magnetic Nano Puzzle Cache

Since 1841 the Narragansett Chapter of the True North Meridian Society has been determining true north on the Western Promenade in Portland. Their efforts are memorialized by a small monument. On the top is a disk detailing their observations are current as of 2003. The Monument reads on one side "True Meridian, Long XX Deg. XX Min." On an adjacent side "Lat XX Deg. XX Min." Take the co-ordinates listed on the monument as a new waypoint. Then project a waypoint from these co-ordinates. Project the new waypoint at 243 degrees a distance of .44 miles to get the final location. A very easy hide, the cache difficulty rating stems from the puzzle, not the hide. The monument area is open 6:30AM to 10:00PM. Congratulations to DSKG and Dillboy on the First to Find!
