This is cache #1 of a series that I am
hiding along the Seattle water pipeline that runs through the
Cascade Vista Neighborhood from Lake Youngs. The pipeline
right-of-way serves as a nice greenbelt which is used by bikers,
hikers, dog walkers etc. It also has houses that border the
pipeline as well. Thus the muggle factor here is high, so stealth
is a requirement here.
This series is meant to be fairly easy
with numerous caches of varing sizes along or near this
right-of-way so that any cacher can snag several caches at one
time.
Should you come here to search you may
also get lucky and see some wild life as the pipeline also serves
as a "highway" for deer, raccoons and even cougars.
To find this cache, there is absolutely no
need to be trespassing on anyones property. Parking should be easy
as well. Parking for this cache within 10 feet of its location.
This cache is big as micros go, but its
small enough to hold only coins. No writing instrument, so
BYOP.
So, bring the dog or cat as it may be, do
some caching and then walk the pipeline. Who knows, you may be
"inspired" to hide some caches in an area that does not have
many.
CONGRATS TO TOBIAS618 FOR NAILING THE FTF.
As Tobias618 noted, this is in the open. Stealth is of the upmost.
There are some retired muggles in the area. One is aware of the
game and the placement of the cache. One could brush up on the
geocache jedi mind tricks on pulling this one off.
Enjoy one and all!
6/05/09 - Since cache has been muggled, I
have moved it to the new coords and have changed the container to a
smaller container. Also added parking coords. Good luck!
