CONGRATS TO FRIED OKRA FOR FTF!
Located in the Osage Beach City Park on Hatchery Road.
Permission to place this cache was granted by City Administrator Nancy Viselli. Thanks Nancy! Park is open dawn to dusk. Daytime only caching.
Cache contents: Log book and pencil, CITO bag, Dale Jr keychain, rubber ball, stickers, 53' Chevy TB and $2 bill for FTF.
Smaller tupperware type container. Will hold TB and smaller swag.
Developed in 1932 by Union Electric, this valley was dedicated to raising fish for Lake of the Ozarks until 1996. In addition to the eleven hatchery ponds, the valley was home to many people who worked through the years to establish and preserve the abundant fish population of the lake. To honor the rich history of this valley and its people, we preserve this site as a public park for the citizens and visitors of Osage Beach.
The City Park is still under developement but is ready for use. The park currently has 3 softball fields, 3 soccer fields and a fishing pond. 08/2009---WOOHOOO, we have a playground now!
