Dumulmeori is one of three famous places in YangPyeong-gun, along with Yangpyeong’s Yemadang Total Art Space and the ancient Yongmunsa Ginkgo Tree. Dumulmeori’s name is an old geographical name of Yangsu-ri meaning “a place where two streams meet”. A 400 year old Japanese Zelkova tree and the early damp-fog add to Dumulmeori's beauty. Dumulmeori became known to the public after it had been used on location for a variety of movies, television shows, and commercials. Among many, the popular Nineties series, ”First Love” was shot at Dumulmeori.
