This is part of our Dew NBC series. We thought that this city in
Mexico needed a cache. We've learned from our fellow cachers that
there is a charge of $6.00 to drive across the border into Mexico
and $4.00 to get back. Since we rode our bike's across, we weren't
aware of the cost of driving---we apologize for the
inconvenience.
The park where we live organizes several biking excursions from
Roma on the USA side to Ciudad Miguel Aleman on the Mexican side
each year. The ride always includes stops at different schools and
lunch at a local restaurant. The bike group is escorted by the
Chief of Police and usually followed by an ambulance. The cache is
located in a small central park of Ciudad Miguel Aleman which is
about a few blocks from the border. It's a nice spot to sit and
rest or use as a starting point to explore downtown shops.
