Geocache Description:

small camo container. Room for Log Only

The Old Fire Bell called Elkon Fire Fighters to duty. Orignally hung in the late 1880's in the belfry of the wooden fire station on the north west corner of the intersection of Elk and first street.
The house was demolished in the early 1940's and the bell was hung in the watertower.
This bell was mounted in 2003 with donated funds from the Mary Cholton Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Sioux Falls, SD, Elkton Womens Club, and private funds.
