The old Pirates were wandering around in the woods when one said
' Look X-Marks the Spot!, well it almost marks the spot. The Capt. then took 17 Pirate Paces on a heading of 268 True N, stopped, took 3 more paces on a heading of 178 True N, and there hid one of his treasure boxes.
You are looking for a small lok n lok type camoed box. Your GPSr may jump around a bit, there probably will be mud on the trail except in the drier months of summer. Best mark your starting point and leave a cookie crumb trail to find your way back- this hide can be approached from 5 directions- but no real bush bashing is required. The 7th of the PPT series. Nearest parking at the end of Willamette St. off Cook Ave.. No theme this time, but smaller items like coin,small TB's , pins, keychains etc. will fit.
