Alexandra Park Traditional Cache
Southerntrekker: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not responded to recent logs I am archiving it.
The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported. Caches that have been archived for lack of maintenance will not be unarchived. This is explained in the Help Center.

The cache is in Alexandra Park, a 196-acre park in North London that is the site of Alexandra Palace. The closest public transportation is the W3 bus that runs between Finsbury Park and Wood Green tube stations, or the W7 that runs between Finsbury Park station and Muswell Hill. The park offers walking trails and exceptional views over London. Alexandra Palace has an ice-skating rink in addition to the enormous exhibition space inside.
Be aware there is a popular Farmer's Market very nearby on most Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm, and it may be impossible to retrieve the cache unobserved during these hours. (It's a nice market, though, so worth a visit!) At other times there are often pedestrians passing by but waiting a minute or two should afford enough time for a clandestine retrieval.
You're looking for a small container, camouflaged to match its surroundings. It will fit a few coins, and perhaps a small TB, in addition to the log. Cache includes a book token prize for the first to find!
