Geocache Description:

Photobucket

Rain water falls slowly, and we seem to count each drop.
Through long days without gods we wait.
Atop cold dew, frozen, past strange stone pillars we long to pass.
Distant trees and the pillars' large heat beckon.
Will frost's descent push us onward?
Or back, where the entrance of cold stole our dreams and made us mute?
Now we wait, and the awakening of hibernated insects stirs the land.

In our dreams, the cold first moon will light our eager steps.
But now, we move through flooded rice fields and ceaseless toil.
The frost's descent we long to feel upon our faces.
What love can we have for this middle stretch of spring,
When the beginning of winter is so distant?
Without gods, we close our eyes.
We dream of large snow . . . and dark pillars of stone.
