Easy drive to base of purple peak, short walk, uphill slightly
Coffee can painted brown with plastic lid. From the 'central' town travel to 'delphi', thence to 'yellow cow-trough', thence to purple peak. If you have driven to jct. Mason Pass/ Artesia re-read coordinates!
A bag with wine, cheese and crackers willl top this cache off! Sit a while, look to the west and view Artesia Lake, Buckskin Mine, Pine Nut Range and the high Sierra Mountains: look to the south and view the terminus of the Copper Belt Railroad, and Sonora Pass in the background!
Perfect opportunity to search for "Just Another Hole" & "Goodiebox II".
