Geocache Description:

This cache was placed to co-inside with the Kernow Kachers First February Find event on Sunday 22nd February 2009.

Recommended free parking in the Delabole quarry car park. Can be done as a cache and dash on its own or for a slightly longer walk carry on and complete the ‘Beside the River Allen’ series.

A short walk down a public footpath with a bit of a scramble over slate rocks at the end. Please take care with dogs and small children as there is a bit of a drop alongside the cache location.

Why the name? When you retrieve the cache take a look around and all should become apparent. (UPDATE: The huge yellow submarine carnival float which was stored in the field has now been removed)

The cache container is a 4.6litre lock and lock box filled with swaps and has an unactivated pink Geogem as the FTF prize. There’s plenty of room for TBs and coins.

The hint is a little ambiguous so if you need more help I’ve added a couple of spoiler pictures.
