:-) cache from the Great Middletown Mall Caper Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

WARNING: "The portion of the Shore Trail that crosses the Giant Stairs is CLOSED due to a major rockfall. This portion of the trail is unsafe and will remain closed until further notice. (The rest of the Shore Trail remains open.)" A 2 hour+ hike. 650 feet below elevation of parking co-ordinates.

This cache was stolen from the "Middletown Mall Heist" in on January 31st, 2009 by members of the infamous and ruthless weathernowcast six gang. The gang members took their home coordinates and hid the cache at the geographic center of the six members and the heist location. Lucky for you, the New Jersey State Police have been able to determine the location of the cache hide through complicated computing technologies. Can you find the cache before the authorities? or before other members of the weathernowcast 6 gang?

Note, as the cache is hidden in an extremely inaccessible location known as the Real real Giant Steps, the cache was first found by IMSpider who left the cache in place and disappeared.

The cache is thought to be fully stocked with items from the heist, cash, and a personal geocoin of the leader of the weathernowcast gang.

Approach the cache with significant caution. A direct approach will lead to certain death from a fall of over 500 feet.

Members of the weathernowcast six gang:

Brian (weathernowcast) Hammer The notorious leader of the Weathernowcast gang. He has been implicated in 1600 heists. The last of which was just north of here along the shore trail. He has been known to become agitated if members of the public wrongly categorize graupel as hail and will whack them with hiking pole (see photo). All three "civilians" in this photograph went missing after such a dispute.

(Walkin) Ed Icepick Seen here at "his sport," he is known to horde bags of nickels and place them in the woods for others to "come across." Beware this evil villain.

Irina (bonick) Andramadovski Is the brains of the operation. Erena has often settled into civilian life by obtaining positions as a professor using one of her 15 phDs. This photo is from a recent college lecture at Jagiellonian University.

Stephen (Dog and Bear) Gunner Is shown here from a surveillance photo from the Middletown Mall. As the name implies, this is the brawn and bite of the group.

Shimain (Buttaskotch) Parker Last known to be sailing around the world, squandering proceeds from the weathernowcast gang's last heists. Photo taken off the cost of Tahiti. Officers are told to beware the smile on this one.
Name: Unkown

The identity of the sixth member of the weathernowcast six gang is not known. This is the only know photograph of the individual holding a tool and beverage of the trade.
