Geocache Description:


This cache has been placed in tribute to a great lady – my MUM.

My parents have lived in the Toogoolawah region for over 50 years (where [Mr]Ksix was raised until moving away for study and work reasons). Mum has been a very important part of the local community, involved with many community groups and volunteer organisations (she has had significant involvement with the local Red Cross for many years now).

This year (2009), my mum celebrates her 75th birthday !!!

and what better way to celebrate this milestone than with the placement of a geocache.

This cache is located in a small rest area, on the highway, just outside of town.

What you seek at this particular location is a small, camouflaged, 100ml plastic container that contains a log book and a couple of small swaps. There is no pen/pencil with this one, so make sure you bring your own. To save room on the log sheets, only date and sign your username and please do not use stickers. Also remember to replace the cache exactly as you found it.
