The Board of Directors of BAGO (Bippus Area Geocaching Organization) has authorized us to invite you to the

The BASH will be held at the POTAWATOMI WILDLIFE PARK On the Tippacanoe River, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m on Saturday, April 11 , 2009, at16998 State Road 331, Tippecanoe, Indiana.

The park, unlike the Reservoirs, is Geocaching Friendly, and consists of about 300 acres of fields, woodlands, ponds and wetlands. There are historic Indian Trails here for you to hike.

There is no smoking on the trails and mushroom and artifact hunting is not allowed. Do not pet the deer or coons! If parrots land on your shoulder, gently shoo them off.

BAGO will provide HotDogs, buns, mustard, relish, onions, hot dog chili, Ketchup, Root Beer, French Roast Coffee, paper plates, cups, and plastic utensils and napkins. Your mission, should you choose to accept it will be to bring your own beverages and your camp chair.

If you want to bring chips, cole slaw, bakead beans, potato salad, or whatever to share, you may, but it is not required.

There are modern facilities here, including super-clean bathrooms with flush toilets, charcoal grills, and a firepit! There is drinking water and electricity,

We would like to see all of our brothers from MAGC, CINCO, NEI-GEO, INDIGO, MIGO etc. that can make it.

We are planning on several new permanent caches in the immediate area that you can log, to be published on the morning of the event. There are several geocaches in the Park.

We will be having a "Closest to the Penny" contest at 1:00 sharp. This contest will be a like last year's. It will be a timed event. Everyone will have 10 minutes from the GO! command,to enter the coordinates, to get to the site, and place their right foot on ground zero. At the end of the ten minutes, whomever's foot is closest to the mark wins.

In addition, this year we will have a petting zoo, including Patrick the Terrier and Lead Dog, the old man.

And no , this will probably not qualify as a MEGA event. Small and Intimate. But maybe.
