I am a music fanatic. When i came to this old seashore playground a few months ago , I missed this place when I was taking photos. Moose_is_loose and I pulled in today and screeched to a halt when I saw the former establishment of Marie. I had heard in the lyrics from Bruce Springsteen about this shore resort, but was amazed that two of the structures he wrote about some 30 years ago when he was a teen , still stand. The Stone Pony, Madame Maries and the Casino all still look over the Atlantic in this resort town-on -the-rebound.The boardwalk is being refurbished and the area is trying to prosper. We got excellent #'s from a 'big sky', so it should not be too difficult.Use stealth.

Rumgirl wanted to see the place so we came back up and tried to find some good spots to bring people here.
Originally, this area of Asbury Park was really depressing and I was wary about having people cache here. The new influx of businesses has turned the resort into an upscale, coming up kind of area.
In ten years, this place will look like Cape May, I am sure.
