The cache is located just off old route 11, now called Orchard or Lover's Lane North of Great Bend. Located on private property. Mine. Park on the pavement. You will find the lane quite quiet.
In June of 2006 flood waters were just under the cache. Three families to the South were distroyed or heavily damaged. Two have rebuilt. To the North the creek was over the guard rails on the bridge and with the full Susquehanna River inundated the next seven homes. All but one have been built higher and better, When you find the cache yuk yuk; this was the level of the flood.
The container is large enough for most any tradeable. When placed it contained: 3 Travel coins No. ca9grv, cs85km, and sgcar8. Also a calculator,YoYo,Small mirror,Rolled stamp holder,ear plugs,Bear novelty, books on tape, colored pencils,Tic tac toe game.Pencil for sign in. Sharpener stays to keep the pencil sharp.
Cache container will be obvious; red cache container is inside with other silly goodies.
There are three geocoins here and it may be a good spot to drop off other coins and or travel bugs.
It's my front yard , be careful.
