The Forestry Commission car park and picnic site at Holystone is the start for a great series of walks taking in waterfalls, crags and ancient broadleaved woodland.
Travelling west through Holystone, the site is half a mile past the village of Holystone at the foot of the road up to the Otterburn ranges.
The cache is a 0.4 litre screw top container containing a log, pencils and various trinkets for swaps. It’s hidden just off the roadside beyond the entrance to the car park.
