Geocache Description:

I am hoping that these caches will get a few more people interested in doing the whole 25 mile route of the Bollin Valley Way (BVW). I have kept these caches as simple as possible, so hopefully people do not have to spend too much time looking for them.

The River Bollin is a short tributary of the Mersey which raises in the Pennine foothills. It now flows into the Manchester Ship Canal near Warburton.
The 25 mile (40km) Bollin Valley Way (BVW) from Macclesfield Riverside Park to Partington gives walkers a feel for the Valley’s variety. It ranges from views of the hills above Macclesfield, through fields and woodlands, towns and villages, under and over roads, railways and canals and past Manchester Airport, to the industries near the Manchester Ship Canal.

Almost at the end of the way.
