As a Geocacher traveling the highways, you can't help looking and thinking "That spot would be a great place to hide a cache!".

After looking at all the wide spots along the roads and highways, we figured these spots were just that! A great place for a cache. Most of the Wide Spots have nice paved shoulders, but we suggest that parking at any of these locations should be well off the highways and paved shoulders.

When the tide is really low, you can see a large rock sticking out of the canal. This is Sund Rock. It is hundreds feet big and a great attraction to divers. They like it because there are a large number of the really, really big Octopus living in its cracks and holes.
