Geocache Description:

A Micro Cache located near the old Fairlawn Center.

This cache is located near, but not on the property of the old Fairlawn Center. The Fairlawn Center formerly provided long-term, in-patient psychiatric services for as many as 125 children and was part of the old Clinton Valley Center, which was the state run mental hospital. From what I have read the state sold Fairlawn to the Pontiac School District so the school district could renovate the property and open it as a school. With the economy the way it is the Pontiac School District has done nothing with the property and it's now a run down building in need of being torn down.

Cache is a Silver "Pill" container covered in camo tape. Please place cache the way you found it to make it fun for others.

You do not have to be on Fairlawn property to find this cache.
