West Indian Mahoghany Tree
(Swietana mahagoni)
This large shade tree grows to 40-50 feet tall. The large pear shaped & stalked seed pod is a very prominent feature. The pods remain on the tree and split open releasing winged seeds for dispersal.
You are looking for a Camo'd Micro
Located in beautiful OLETA RIVER STATE PARK
$6 entrance fee
Park is Open from 8 am to Sunset everyday.
You can picnic, swim, hike, bike, kayak, canoe
Or just relax on the beach.
You can even rent bicycles, kayaks and canoes!
