I've always disliked caches stowed away on railroad cars because they leave so many places to be hidden and you usually end up with extremely dirty hands after scouring over all the possibilities. Therefore, as part of my therapy to get over the negative feelings, I decided to hide a cache on one.
This is located on a caboose at the Bibb County Chamber of Commerce. You will see the GMSR letters on the side, though it's the only caboose around (actually, it's the only railroad car around) so it should be painfully obvious which car its hidden on. The Chamber of commerce is located in the old Centreville Train Depot next to the recently, accidentally burned down old Bibb County Junior High School building. There are some walking trails nearby along the Cahaba River, which will be one of my my next areas to hide a cache.
This one isn't too difficult - it's a magnetic key holder and you can get it while standing up and reaching under - you do not need to crawl under the car (unless that's how you get your 'jollies'). It is placed with permission of the Chamber of Commerce so don't worry about being observed while looking. This one was placed at night so take that in consideration when using the coords. The hint is a spoiler so don't use it unless you need it. Happy caching!
