Although the two men in question are not really old, well maybe one
is the name of the cache was inspired by
a caption on a picture taken while doing Jamm’s Ten Miles of View,
Cachemas 2008. The picture of and FireFighter Skippy and wing-it
even made it to the GC.com web page Thanks to Snowball's Keeper for
the background picture :)
After completing GC1MZTY Among the Ruins 2 and GC1MZQF Top of The
Town we thought we would place another cache to add to the hike. We
can’t say enough about what a nice trail and hike Little Tree
Walkers has shown us. This is certainly what geocaching is all
about. The loop hike will test your legs, heart and lungs too.
While at the Top of the Town cache we could see Long Island Sound
off in the distance. While we were passing this site we thought
about the Leather Man and he surely would have used this area for a
shelter if he had crossed the Connecticut River. You will be
looking for a small lock and lock container that FireFighter Skippy
donated for the cache.
